All purpose very high bond tape combines the convenience and simplicity of a tape with the strength and performance of mechanical fasteners. 45 mils thick high bond tapes replace bolts, rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives and other permanent fasteners. Acrylic foam tape has a very high internal strength and bonds permanently to high and medium surface energy substrates and is a comparable alternative to 3M™ 4941, 3M™ 4945 and 3M™ 4947 VHB™ tapes.
